Kuvuka Hub Joins Mikoko Festival 2026 to Champion Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Mobility

Kuvuka Hub proudly participated in the Mikoko Festival 2026, held in Kigamboni to commemorate World Mangrove Day, reaffirming its commitment to environmental conservation, youth empowerment, and sustainable community development.

The festival brought together government institutions, environmental organizations, community groups, private sector partners, and local residents to celebrate the vital role of mangrove ecosystems in protecting Tanzania's coastline, preserving biodiversity, and strengthening climate resilience.

As an innovation hub dedicated to Smart Mobility, Smart Tourism, and Community Development, Kuvuka Hub used the festival as an opportunity to engage the public on how innovation and environmental stewardship can work together to build sustainable communities.

Promoting Road Safety and Digital Vehicle Readiness

During the event, Auto365 Africa, a flagship initiative of Kuvuka Hub, collaborated with the Kigamboni District Traffic Police to provide public awareness on vehicle safety and responsible road use.

Visitors received practical guidance on:

• Digital vehicle pre-inspections before official roadworthiness inspections.
• Preventive vehicle maintenance and safety practices.
• Responsible driving and motorcycle safety.
• The role of technology in improving road safety and mobility services.

The initiative demonstrated how digital solutions can help vehicle owners improve compliance, reduce breakdowns, and contribute to safer roads.

The festival also highlighted the importance of protecting mangrove forests, which provide critical ecological and economic benefits by:
